Find a sports hall — hala sportowa (HAH-lah spor-TOH-vah)
Search Google Maps for "hala sportowa badminton" + your city. Most districts have at least one public hall.
Book online or call
Courts are called "kort badmintonowy". Typical booking: 1–2 hours in advance off-peak; 1–2 weeks ahead for popular weekend morning slots.
Cost
Typical court hire: 30–60 PLN/hour. Split 4 ways for doubles = 7.5–15 PLN per person. Very affordable. Shuttlecocks — lotki (LOT-kee) — sold at the hall or bring your own.

Equipment — what to buy in Poland
- Rakieta (rah-KYEH-tah) — Decathlon (Artengo brand) for beginners: 50–150 PLN. Yonex/Victor at sports specialty shops.
- Lotki (LOT-kee) — nylon shuttlecocks in bulk from Amazon.pl, ~50 PLN for 6.
- Obuwie halowe (oh-BOO-vyeh hah-LOH-veh) — non-marking indoor shoes, mandatory. Decathlon from 100 PLN. Never wear outdoor trainers — you will be asked to leave.
Join a Polish badminton club
For regular competitive play, join a klub badmintonowy (kloop bad-meen-TOH-noh-vih). Fixed weekly training sessions, coaching, and league matches. Membership: 80–200 PLN/month.
